Severstal increases LDP production for Gazprom pipeline projects
Severtal’s Izhora Pipe Plant (ITZ) has produced the 6-millionth tonne of large-diameter pipes (LDP) since the plant was launched in 2006.
The LDP with a length of 12 meters, a diameter of 1420 mm, and a wall thickness of 18.7 mm was produced from K60 steel for a key client - the leading Russian gas producer and supplier Gazprom.
In January-October, ITZ produced 309,000t of LDP, up by 45% on-year, the company tells Kallanish.
