Severstal invests in thick plate output
Russian steelmaker and miner Severstal continues to invest into high-strength thick plate production at its Cherepovets Steelworks, the company tells Kallanish.
It has launched a new sheet straightening machine No.4 (LPM-4), designed for straightening products before cutting. LPM-4 is capable of processing high-strength heavy plate.
