Severstal strip mill upgrade targets automotive industry
Russian steelmaker and miner Severstal completed the technical upgrade of the four-stand hot strip mill at its Cherepovets steel mill, the company says.
The reconstruction of the main technological equipment of the mill is part of a wider project worth about RUB 8 billion ($299 million), Kallanish notes.
