Severstal installs a new leveller at Cherepovets
Severstal’ Cherepovets Steel Mill has installed a new leveller in its metal finishing shop No 2, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker.
The equipment was installed on the cross cutting machine No 3 and is intended to rectify rolled metal before cutting. The machine can handle about 1500-2000 tonnes/day of product. The project is costing over RUB 70 million ($1m), Severstal says.
