Severstal eyes wind power turbine exports by 2022
Russia’s Severstal has bought a 24.5% stake in WRS Towers from one of its joint venture partners, Rusnano, the steelmaker says.
The transaction was closed in September, as a result of which Severstal's share in the joint venture has increased to 49%. The share of another partner, Spanish company Windar Renovables, remains at the same level of 51%.
