Severstal eyes exports to Asia, South Africa
Russia’s vertically-integrated steelmaker Severstal plans to redirect its exports due to sanctions stemming from Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the enterprise confirmed to Kallanish.
“We are currently working on reorienting exports to Asian and South African directions,” a spokesperson says. “So far, we do not confirm the dates or the specific markets mentioned by Russian officials.”
