Severstal ships first large-diameter pipe to US
Russian steelmaker and miner Severstal has completed its first delivery of large-diameter pipes (LDP) produced at its flagship Izhora LDP mill to the US, the steelmaker says.
The volume amounted to 2,350 tonnes, Kallanish notes. The products have a diameter of 800,1mm and a wall thickness of 19,05mm. The pipes were shipped from the port of St. Petersburg to Houston, Texas.
