Severstal develops new cryogenic rebar
Russian miner and steelmaker Severstal has begun production of Ak500-class cryogenic rebar at its Cherepovets steel mill, the company says.
This is a new product, made on the Cryonix line, which retains its properties at temperatures down to minus 165 Celsius and is unique to Russian metallurgy, the enterprise claims.
