Sinter moisture control boosts Severstal productivity, lowers cost
Russian steelmaker Severstal has developed a model for controlling sinter charge moisture content, which will increase equipment productivity and produce additional sinter volumes.
The solution was implemented on sintering machines No.10 and No.11 in the sinter shop No.3 of its Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant (CherMK), Kallanish notes.
