Severstal affirms 2030 CO2 reduction plan
Russian vertically integrated steelmaker Severstal has set a medium-term goal to reduce the carbon intensity of its CO2 emissions by 10% by December 2030, as compared to 2020, Kallanish notes.
The goal is calculated in accordance with worldsteel methodology and ISO 14404 standards, and is a part of Severstal's longer-term greenhouse gas emissions reduction strategy, the company says.
