Severstal adds Peru to large-diameter pipe export pool
Russian vertically-integrated steelmaker Severstal has completed a maiden delivery of a consignment of large-diameter pipe to South America, the company says.
The batch of LDP produced at the company's Izhora Pipe plant in St. Petersburg was delivered to Ilo port in southern Peru. The consignment contained pipe of 762mm diameter with wall thickness of 9.53mm, manufactured from steel strength grade X52, API 5L PSL 1 standard.
