European alloy surcharges are seen rising for September
Alloy surcharges for flat stainless steels in Europe are expected to increase in September following the increases in nickel prices.
July surcharges for 300-series austenitic steels are at between €1,347-1,360/tonne ($1,501-1516/t), depending on mill. August surcharges have increased €20/t on average on July to €1,374-1,380/t.
