Separatist-controlled Ukrainian wire producer ramps up output
Ukrainian wire producer Stalkanat-Silur’s Khartsyzsk-based division has ramped up production following its seizure by the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), according to DPR’s industry and trade ministry.
The plant restarted in April using wire rod sourced from the Makiivka plant of Yenakiieve Steel, which was itself seized by DPR from Metinvest in March (see Kallanish 16 March).
