Semis boost Cognor's sales but costs hamper profitability
Poland's Cognor reported a 3.4% on-year increase in crude steel output and 1.4% growth in overall deliveries in the second quarter despite the difficult situation in the European steel industry. However, lower sales prices dented revenue. Coupled with higher costs, this reduced profitability.
