Semiconductor shortage costs world automotive industry $110b.
Haydar Yenigün, chairman of the Turkish Automotive Industry Association (OSD), said that the global automotive industry lost $110 billion due to the microchip supply crisis, Kallanish reports.
Yenigün stated that the automotive production sector in Turkey has started to recover. The data for 2021 is showing an improvement, but the microchip production crisis that has affected the world will continue for a while.
