Turkeys seamless pipe imports fall y/y in April, rise over March
Turkey’s seamless pipe imports declined -9.5% year-on-year but surged 30.6% month-on-month in April to 24,306 tonnes, Kallanish learns from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
The average price of these imports decreased to $1,249/tonne from $1,490/t in April 2014, TUIK data show.
In March, these imports dropped -33.9% on-year to 18,608t at an average price of $1,334/t versus $1,264/t in March 2014.
