SEAISI forecasts 3.1% growth in ASEAN steel demand
Overall steel demand in the main six ASEAN countries slowed during the first half of this year, Kallanish noted at this week’s 2023 SEAISI Sustainability & Construction Forum. Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines and Malaysia registered positive growth but Thailand and Vietnam saw demand dip.
