SeAH Steel to produce steel for wind power
South Korean steelmaker SeAH Steel plans to produce steel for offshore wind power generation facilities through new investments. These will be funded by issuing KRW 80 billion ($70.63 million) in corporate bonds through the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system, Kallanish notes from local media reports.
Once the new plant is completed, 72,000 tonnes/year of offshore wind infrastructure is expected to be produced.
