SeAH Besteel upgrades EAF
Korea's largest special steel producer, Seah Besteel, has contracted Danieli to increase the process efficiency of the No.3 electric arc furnace at its Gunsan meltshop.
The steelmaker will use Danieli's Q-MELT technological package, in order to avoid over-oxidation and maximise process repeatability and steel quality, the Italian technology supplier tells Kallanish.
