Seaborne coking coal shipments rise in 2017: Assocarboni
Seaborne metallurgical coal shipments rose in 2017 according to the Italian-based General Association of Coal Operators, Assocarboni.
In a report sent to Kallanish, the association says that seaborne coking coal shipments rose by 4% to 260 million tonnes, from 250mt in 2016. This was mainly as a result of the increase in world steel production.
