Scrap suppliers resist lower prices in Turkey
In Turkey’s scrap market, suppliers seem to be showing stronger resistance to lower prices now, though Turkish mills are yet to resume scrap purchases in earnest.
As almost all market participants expected bookings to resume this week, they are confused with the absent demand. However, most still believe that Turkish mills will re-start buying scrap in the second half of this week.
