Scrap prices soften in Turkey

Following the retreat of Turkish mills from the market, scrap prices have started decreasing in Turkey, Kallanish notes. Short-sea scrap prices, which stood at $270-275/tonne cfr last week, were at $265/t cfr in the most recent Romania-origin A3 deal.
