Imported scrap price increase gains momentum in Turkey
The uptrend in Turkish imported scrap prices has gained further momentum on fresh bookings, Kallanish observes.
A Turkish mill bought two cargoes at higher prices on Tuesday. The first cargo, to be shipped from the US in December, contains 13,000 tonnes of HMS 80:20 at $305/tonne, 14,000t of shredded at $310/t and 3,000t of P&S at $315/t cfr Turkey.
