Schvartsman begins tenure as Vale ceo
Brazilian iron ore miner Vale tells Kallanish that its new ceo has now taken up his position with the company.
Fabio Schvartsman, formerly ceo of pulp and paper conglomerate Klabin, began in his new role as from last Monday 22 May. He was appointed by Vale's board of directors in March from a list prepared by Spencer Stuart, an international recruiting company, in accordance with Vale´s governance, the miner says.
