Saudi's G5PS inks record water pipe contract
Dammam-based pipemaker Group Five Pipe Saudi (G5PS) has been awarded a record high contract by Saline Water Conversion Corporation to manufacture and supply welded spiral steel pipe for water transportation from Ras Al Khair to Riyadh.
Its value is over SAR 3 billion ($800m), including VAT, G5PS says in a bourse filing seen by Kallanish.
This is one of the highest value domestic supply contracts signed by a pipe maker in the country in the last two years.
