Saudi, UAE demand lifts Bahrain pellet exports
Bahraini exports of agglomerated iron ore surged 72% on-year in April to 892,897 tonnes, according to Information and eGovernment Authority data monitored by Kallanish. This was, however, down from 1.3 million tonnes in March.
Shipments to Saudi Arabia soared almost seven-fold to 363,131t, but deliveries to Oman fell -30% to 270,998t. Intake by United Arab Emirates more than trebled to 258,769t.
