Saudi Sulb eyes Q3 billet plant commissioning
Saudi Arabia’s Sulb National Company plans to commission in the third quarter its delayed 300,000 tonnes/year billet plant in Rabigh, north of Jeddah, a company executive tells Kallanish.
The firm has completed construction of the scrap shredder, plant building and water plant, while all components of the induction furnace-based billet plant have arrived at the site. The foundation phase has commenced.
