Saudi Steel Pipe wins Aramco contract
Saudi Steel Pipe (SSP) has won a SAR 82 million ($21.9m) contract to supply welded pipe to Saudi Aramco, with production set to take place in the second half of 2019, Kallanish learns from the Saudi pipemaker.
Last week Tenaris completed the acquisition of a 47.79% stake in SSP. The Saudi pipemaker subsequently appointed Tenaris senior executive Mariano Armingol Lamazares as its new chief executive (see Kallanish 23 January).
