Saudi Steel Pipe resumes medium-diameter pipe output after maintenance
Saudi Steel Pipe (SSP) has resumed production at its medium-diameter pipe mill following the completion of scheduled maintenance on the unit, Kallanish learns from the welded pipemaker.
When it began the maintenance in September the firm said the production halt will lead to a decline in SSP’s sales and thus to a fall in its fourth-quarter earnings by some SAR 3m, or $800,000 (see Kallanish 29 September).
