Saudi steel, iron exports surge in H1
Saudi Arabia's first half (January-June) steel and iron products under HS codes 72 and 73 surged 16.2% on-year to 1.04 million tonnes from 894,237 tonnes a year earlier. However, imports increased 11.6% on-year to 2.48mt, from 2.22mt recorded in 2021, Kallanish observes.
