Saudi sees multi-year-high imports, UAE semis imports decline
United Arab Emirates apparent finished steel use (ASU) dropped -3% on-year in 2019 to 7.59 million tonnes, according to newly-published worldsteel data. This follows its -1% on-year drop in 2018 from the nine-year high recorded in 2017.
