Saudi rebar trade slows, wire rod supply tight
The Saudi Arabian wire rod market is experiencing shortages in most sizes except for 9mm. Traders unwilling to sell due to lack of mill shipments are offering benchmark mill material at SAR 2,450/tonne ($653) against cash, with a few deals closing at SAR 2,400/t delivered to the buyer's yard, notes Kallanish.
