Saudi Arabian rebar producers' billet enquiries decline
Saudi Arabian merchant billet producers have seen a drop in billet enquiries, coinciding with the Dammam-based fully integrated mill making its billet offer at SAR 1,950/tonne ($520) loaded on truck.
The first shipment of imported scrap is expected to be delivered at the end of September to a Riyadh-based mill's west coast facility, with two more to follow in October, notes Kallanish.
