Saudi rebar market slows ahead of new prices
Saudi Arabian rebar market activity has slowed ahead of next month's rebar price announcement from the benchmark mill, notes Kallanish.
Third-tier mills increased their prices slightly, by SAR 25-50/tonne ($6.6-13.3), setting them at SAR 2,100-2,150/t ($560-573) delivered within the district or city. Tameer Steel on the west coast has settled at SAR 2,220/t ex-works, attracting little interest.
