Saudi rebar distributors' price increase attempts fail
Saudi Arabia’s major rebar distributors are trying to elevate their wholesale rebar quotes to tier-two and three traders by SAR 50/tonne ($13.3) to SAR 2,250/t delivered, from last week's 2,180-2,200/t. However, buyers' resistance has convinced distributors to settle their quotes at SAR 2,200/t delivered on a cash basis, Kallanish notes.
