Saudi re-roller earnings surge in third quarter
United Wire Factories Co. (Aslak) reported a 58% on-year surge in third-quarter revenue to SAR 168.3 million ($44.9m). Net profit surged 120% to SAR 1.1m thanks to increased sales and ability to maintain gross profit despite lower margins, the firm says.
In the nine months through September Aslak saw revenue surge 27% on-year to SAR 505.2m and net profit rise 11% to SAR 17.2m.
