Saudi pipemaker wins huge contract to supply Aramco
Saudi Arabian large-diameter welded pipemaker Global Pipe Company (GPC) has won a SAR 790 million ($210.7m) contract from Saudi Aramco, Kallanish learns from GPC major shareholder Saudi Steel Pipe (SSP).
Production of 550km worth of 56-inch pipe will commence towards the end of the first quarter next year, with deliveries continuing to Q1 2018.
