Saudi mills reduce rebar quotes
Saudi Arabia rebar producers reduced rebar quotes by SAR 10-100/tonne ($2.6-26.6) after the country's benchmark mill rolled over its September-delivery offers amid a subdued market, Kallanish notes.
Last Tuesday, the benchmark mill announced a rollover for 12-14mm rebar at SAR 2,750/t ($733) and 16-32mm rebar at SAR 2,700 ($720) and, for quantities above 80% of pre-agreed September quotas, a SAR 150/t discount to be given across all sizes. …
