Saudi-origin rebar deal ‘spoils’ Kuwait market
A Saudi Arabian primary mill's rebar export to Kuwait at a discounted rate has spoiled the Kuwait domestic market, sources tell Kallanish.
A trading company in Kuwait booked Grade 60 rebar from a major Saudi east coast mill at KD 175/tonne ($569) delivered to its yard in Kuwait for a 10,000-tonne parcel, to be shipped promptly.
