Saudi major distributors pull down rebar wholesale quotes
Major Saudi Arabian rebar distributors have reduced their wholesale – trader to trader – rebar quotes back to last week's SAR 2,270/tonne ($605) after attempting to increase to SAR 2,320-2,350/t delivered.
The attempted hike was on the back of a SAR 100/t on-month increase in the Saudi benchmark mill's scrap purchasing price for December transactions, notes Kallanish.
