Saudi scrap-rebar price differential widens
Saudi Arabia's benchmark mill has kept its scrap purchase prices for February transactions unchanged from January. It has thus maintained a differential of almost SAR 700/tonne ($187) between scrap purchase prices and its February delivered rebar sales prices of SAR 2,350/t, following a SAR 25/t increase on January, notes Kallanish.
