Saudi iron ore, DRI imports drop in July
Saudi Arabian imports of iron ore declined for the fourth consecutive month in July, by -36% on-year to 406,461 tonnes, according to General Authority for Statistics data monitored by Kallanish.These comprise mainly pellet used for direct reduced iron production.
Supply from Sweden was flat at 175,107t, but intake from Oman plummeted -66% on-year to 155,349t. Bahrain supplied 75,992t versus zero a year earlier.
