Saudi domestic scrap remains stable despite rebar drop
Saudi Arabia's benchmark mill has announced its scrap buying prices for August, unchanged on July quotes, Kallanish learns.
Purchasing prices, excluding VAT, on a delivered in Jubail basis are at SAR 1,680/tonne ($448) for HMS 80:20 grade scrap, shredded at SAR 1,730/t ($461.3), and premium at SAR 1,750/t ($466.6), local sources confirm.
