Saudi domestic billet prices remain firm
Saudi Arabian merchant billet producers have increased their rebar grade (grade 40) billet quotes by SAR 20-50/tonne on-week to SAR 1,965-2,000/t ex-mill, driven by demand from Riyadh-based rebar producers, notes Kallanish.
A few rebar-grade billet deals were concluded this week on an ex-works basis at SAR 1,975/t for a small cargo in Jeddah, SAR 1,965/t in Dammam and SAR 2,000/t in Riyadh for a total tonnage of nearly 20,000 tonnes.
