Saudi billet producers hold offers, leverage rebar rise
Saudi billet producers are holding their offers to monitor the market to see if higher rebar prices will translate into a price increase for billet. At the start of the week, the benchmark mill increased its November delivery effective rebar price by nearly SAR 75/tonne ($20) on October. However, second-tier mill Al Rajhi and a few tier-three mills are yet to issue their November rolling rebar quotes, notes Kallanish.
