Saudi Arabian rebar prices rise over first half
Rebar prices in Saudi Arabia have risen steadily since the beginning of 2019, according to data issued by the Saudi Arabian government and monitored by Kallanish.
The average price for the monitored range of 6-16mm diameter rebar rose from SAR 2,443/ton [sic] ($651/ton) in January, to SAR 2,713/ton in June 2019 (see Table 1). That said, most of the growth in prices occurred over January to April with a subsequent flattening in May and June.
