Saudi apparent steel use rebounds following five-year decline
Saudi Arabia’s apparent steel use (ASU) inched up 9.2% on-year in 2020 to 11.49 million tonnes, bringing to an end five consecutive years of decline. Use peaked in 2014 at 14.6mt, worldsteel says in its recently-published Steel Statistical Yearbook 2021 monitored by Kallanish.
