Saudi rules of origin to boost local content
Saudi Arabia has approved national rules of origin consisting of 34 articles, which aim to stimulate local production, Kallanish reports.
The new measures ultimately mean steel products which are not made in a member country of the Gulf Cooperation Council will be considered as foreign goods by Saudi Customs and could be levied with a tariff.
