Iron ore prices boost Afrimat earnings, eyes manganese
South African iron ore miner Afrimat saw a significant increase both in half-year sales and profit, notes Kallanish.
The group increased its March-August revenue by 55.4% on-year to ZAR 2.4 billion ($159 million) from ZAR 1.6 billion in 2020, and operating profit rose 65% to ZAR 582.8m.
