Sangang Minguang starts bar line construction
Sangang Minguang, the listed arm of Fujian-based Sangang Group, has started construction of a semi-continuous bar line project at its Sanming base.
This will help the steelmaker gain capacity for 800,000 tonnes/year of large gauge round bars and square billets, Kallanish notes. A caster will also be constructed for preliminary processing of billets, the steelmaker says.
